Schokland (2023)

De nieuwste CD van Black Pencil 'SCHOKLAND' bevat korte composities geschreven voor het ensemble, alle werken geïnspireerd op Unesco Werelderfgoed Schokland. Schokland is een unieke combinatie van cultuurgeschiedenis en natuur, midden in de Noordoostpolder. Bewijs van menselijke bewoning die meer dan 10.000 jaar teruggaat, kan daar worden gevonden.

Black Pencil lanceerde een internationale oproep voor composities genaamd BLACK PENCIL IN SCHOKLAND PRIZE. De oproep was een enorm succes: 174 composities uit 36 landen. De mooiste composities staan ​​op deze CD.

Dit project werd mede mogelijk gemaakt dankzij de Provincie Flevoland en het Fonds Podiumkunsten. 

Black Pencil's latest CD 'SCHOKLAND' contains short compositions written for the ensemble, all works inspired by Unesco World Heritage Schokland.
